1 Day Seminar In Hair Cutting, Hair Style For Kids

Basic Hair Cutting Course

Basic Hair Cutting Course is a 2-week course. It is running one morning a week for 2 consecutive weeks. This practical course is designed for trainees or hairdressers returning to the craft. This course will refresh their skills and build their confidence with hair cutting.

Course content:

Square layers

Round layers

Bobs, graduated bob and layered bob

Ladies short hair graduation

Course Structure:

Week 1: One length square layer – Students learn the different types of layering.

Week 2: One length round layers.

(Week 1 and 2 both incorporate side/full  fringe’s, texturising, point cutting and slicing.)

Week 3: Bob/graduated bob, long bob (lob) and layered bob

Week 4: Ladies short-haired graduation

Course Details:

Time: 10am-2pm

Hairdressers get full knowledge of basic skills required for cutting. This course provides confidence building as each student progresses at their own level. This is an individually accessed course.

Each week for the first hour the course begins with a demonstration from the tutor (the cut for that week). After the demonstration students will work on their own models and each student is tutored to their own ability.

Bring your own model and cutting/styling tools (scissors, combs, brushes, hairdryers, gowns, clips, etc). If students can not source a model, mannequin heads can be used. Towels are provided.
